  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Rosary and Christians

Many people forget that one, it's a very important one for us to realize that we all need to be humble. I have found more and more questions then answers that it's driving me nuts. Isaiah has to be one of the hardest right next to revelations.

John 1:14 King James Version (KJV) 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. I was thinking more of this scripture Philippians 2:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 And being found in...

    Fasting: Thoughts and Questions

Our Lord Jesus Christ died for us all and he didn't hold back so why should we? I say one should hold back from ALL food except water. I mean you can always lie to yourself and just "fast" from some types of food resulting in you over eating on a different food just to say you "fasted". The real...

I was a Catholic once, *John 14:6–8 (look up verse) Here's the first 5 commandments of the 10 commandments pay attention to the 3rd and 4th [1] And God spake all these words, saying, [2] I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. [3]...

Is it possible to find aHusband even if you do not go to the Church?

I met my spouse at an Alcoholic Anonymous after praying to our Lord Jesus Christ for help to keep me sober and on track because I was lonely and in pain with my past. We now have 3 beautiful children, we are sober for many years and refuse to drink. We are also complete opposites, she's way out...
