  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm still not big into rap, either. But I make an exception w/ KJ52 and John Reuben.

    Kj52

Has anyone heard KJ52's new cd "Behind the Musik (A boy named Jonah)"? My dad picked it up a few days ago, and it's pretty good. I love track 15, Life After Death.

    Need help

Personally, I like listening to rock such as Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar, or Skillet. We also listen to John Reuben, KJ52, Relient K, and many others. But my parents listen to stuff like Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Casting Crowns. ImHisServant is right, there are several types of music that focus...

Who have you seen on stage?

The two shows I've recently seen were STOMP and Grease. Both were really good!

    Favorite show

My favorite show is definately "Lost" on ABC. It's the best show ever! I also like Smallville, Blind Justice, Alias, CSI, and many many more.

    SmallVille

I really love Smallville. I think the farthest I've seen was where Lana leaves for Paris. What season is that? Anyway, I really like it, but I see some everyone's points of how it's getting a little tired. I still like it though.

    Any one like mysteries?

I'm a big mystery fan. I've recently gotten into Catherine Coulter books. For me, they're the kind of books that you pick up and you never want to put down.

    Anyone see the Pacifier yet?

We saw it in the theater. I would definately tell anyone to go see it. A lot of people were saying that Vin Diesel was only good in action/adventure movies, but I think that this movie proved them wrong. He was excellent! Definately a family movie! Two thumbs up from me!

You shouldn't have laughed...but you did!

For me, it's not necessarily a part of a movie rather than the movie itself. For instance, we saw The Ring 2 on Saturday, and although they try to make it a 'scary' movie, it turns out more funny or stupid to me. Another example is in Ladder 49, (sorry for anyone who hasnt seen it) but the guy...

Was Napoline Dynamite good or stupid?

I thought that it was stupid. And I agree that it was one of those movies that you either love or you hate. I think that I hated it so much because before I even got to watch it, everyone around my school was already quoting every single quote! I swear that I heard someone say 'pegs, shocks...
