• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You still haven't shown where the bible says that man is unable to hear. Just because the man Jesus was speaking to could not hear that doesn't stand for all natural men and you know it. Yes you do when you assumed this meant all men. "Them" does not mean all natural men. that is just not so...

Hi williard; Now I don't believe that fopr a minute. Here's something you may not know. As near as I can tell there are modern baptist, fundamentalist, calvinist, primitive, anabaptist, southern baptist, mission baptist, grace baptist, baptist temple, unaffiliated and bible baptist. Just goes...

What doctrines have religions today adopted from Catholicism?

Why is the pope called vicar? Why did Luther nail his reasons to the church door. Why do you believe in Indulgences?. and most of all why pay for them? If the pope and the church government didn't change the scriptures who did? because they do not say the same thing as the earliest papry...

Lion roar; Is that right then tell us why he is called the head of the church of Rome. Why do you call him holy father? why does he have supreme authority as Christ does? ILUVLIGHT:)

Not true at all and further more you have no proof of this boastful claim at all. You made this statement now prove your case. I can prove this isn't so with history out side of the church. Your church history is biased. Nothing could be further from the truth the Inquisition proved the RCC to...

What doctrines have religions today adopted from Catholicism?

Hi Rhamiel; You know I don't deny that Christ could have turned the bread and wine in to flesh and blood but I do deny that any man has that ability. and whats more you haven't a leg to stand on as far as proof There is only one orthodox church and it isn't known as the RCC. but...

1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: This is why; but why bother with me. I'm not worthy of your answer. ILUVLIGHT:)

Even in my Greek interlinear verse 43 is still two questions. Neither of which can be made to say that man cannot hear in his natural state. You say it does. and it doesn't. On the contrary your claim of man being unable to hear just isn't in this verse at all. Verse 44 does not tells us man...

Hi vrunca; Exactly my point "if God wants" it to be representive it will be and is. Plain as day. So why don't you? God never said to have the priest to turn the bread and wine in to flesh and blood first did He? ILUVLIGHT:)

Hi BBAS64; Rhetoric or not a question is not a statement but is the asking for a statement or answer. Christ wasn't saying man has a disability in his hearing. He was asking if the man could hear and from that it is derived that man cannot hear. If you take out the italic word even then you...

I don't see any Catholics who have the fortitude to explain it with scripture. ILUVLIGHT

What doctrines have religions today adopted from Catholicism?

Very definitely Catholic however it is not Orthodox. What is orthodox is true. If it were then transubstantiation would make the bread and wine taste and look exactly like the flesh and blood of Christ. It doesn't look or taste like anything but a cracker and wine therefore your claims of it...

    Works?

Hi BBAS64; Obviously two questions. The first question suggest that Christ doesn't know or else why would He ask. We know that isn't true. Unless He did know and wanted to bring the persons attention to the fact, they were not listening. Scripture still doesn't say that man cannot hear or...
