  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

chemotaxis I would say is more reactive where DNA is proactive. When no one is willing to say there is actual intelligence or awareness, there isn't much that can be said.

Vestigial organs are an icon of evolution's common ancestry. Two of the best known, are the appendix and the coccyx (Tailbone). These are only two of a once very long list over the years that have been found to have significant function. In the late 1800's Robert Wiedersheim had a list of 86 non...

What is the scientifically peer reviewed evidence for a young Earth?

YOu wouldn't want to compete for journal space with this would ya? With all this important research taking up the space there is just no room. "We would be better off not meeting them [dinosaurs with human intelligence]," concludes the study, which appears in the Journal of the American...

What is the scientifically peer reviewed evidence for a young Earth?

The research that let him to discard evolution was that evolution is limited in ability to effect major changes. Most changes are loss of functiona and loss of information. He has produced plenty of books that have been reviewed by far more than some anonymous referees. Many scietists are...

What is the scientifically peer reviewed evidence for a young Earth?

Not really interested in your personal redefining of ID. You are anti-religion and anything that is not evolution you will brand as religion.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. I am not offended by your use of creationist. Even though is is misused. You are letting your anger cloud your thinking.

What is the scientifically peer reviewed evidence for a young Earth?

I have not seen any empirical evidence supporting a young Earth. Where creationsits will take biblical text and use it as the basis for scientific discovery, ID does not. Michael Behe was perfectly happy as a theistic evolutionist Catholic until is research changed his mind. The research has...

"The Science article reports on a paper suggesting that the non-coding 97% of the DNA, commonly referred to as junk DNA, might have a function. The authors of the paper employed linguistic tests to analyze junk DNA and discovered striking similarities to ordinary language. The scientists...

DNA forms spontaneously? You should share that with the rest of the scientific community because no one else knows that. DNA is a language by every definition of a language. The base pairs are arranged in a code. Simple? hardley.

So your saying they are recognized. Similarily, DNA was recognized by Crick as being designed but told everyone to ignore that. Dawkins recognizes "apparent design" and ignores that as well. I guess, someone could pick up an arrowhead and just tell everyone it was not designed to penetrate...
