CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

God has blessed me! I am a stay-at-home wife married to a wonderful man and we are raising 2 beautiful kitties
We are hoping to add children to our family in the near future. I praise God that He has answered prayers and is restoring my health day by day! We attend a small United Methodist church where my husband is the Sunday school superintendent. I love to sing and am a member of our choir. Unlike my husband, I was not raised in a family who attended church. I have been attending for the last 5+ years, and although our church is UM, I do not consider myself to be a Methodist. The more I learn, the more I find that my beliefs do in fact agree with Wesleyan theology, but I prefer to consider myself a Christian rather than label myself with a denominational tag.
