    Christian forums vs Reddit

I don't really have a reason to trust your side of a he-said-she-said battle with moderators on another site, it just sounds like sour grapes. ooooh, those durn liberalists!

    Christian forums vs Reddit

Oh, certainly, w/r/t the very reverend archpriest Peter Heers. Yes, I was speaking a bit briefly there, obviously there's more to it than "questioning someone's Orthodoxy". As for "liberal", it's not a good label for theological positions in the West, and it's even more off-base to import as a...

    Christian forums vs Reddit

I mean this is literally what the other poster was fighting with the reddit mods over, but you can write whatever fan fiction you want about me.

    Christian forums vs Reddit

well, they seem to think that Fr Peter Heers is operating outside of episcopal authority rather than really truly secretly somehow being under some bishop somewhere, he'll get it sorted out soon, really. And also think that it should be against the rules to question the Orthodoxy of other posters.

CF was dying but is now in some kind of stasis. The moderators on the reddit Orthodoxy forum keep things on a pretty even keel. But there are a lot of low quality questions.

St. Euphrosynos Taverna and Ouzeri (another one!)

Taken from the event site -- you can play "Where's Waldo" with me. It was a really nice liturgy.

St. Euphrosynos Taverna and Ouzeri (another one!)

Today was a good day -- went to 6:30 am liturgy, then afterward sung in the choir for liturgy with the metropolitan. A doubleheader! I think the last time I ran into the metropolitan it was still Met Jonah. Have another pontifical liturgy this weekend. A lot of diagonality recently.

Metropolitan Kallistos, David Bentley Hart, Universalism, and the Church of the East

Is that *known* or *asserted*? Yes, good memory, and he was quite correct about it: people asserting that the above is "known" typically don't have the Hebrew chops to back up their assertion. I will just note that while we don't like Protestant exegesis, they have little trouble finding a...
