CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University, graduated in 2003, I have spent much of my time sharing the Bible with people all over the world on the internet, first in Spanish and then in English.
I started growing on my own when a Jehovah Witness came to my door and in debate, over our Biblical faiths, it became clear to me how the churches defend their traditions from Biblical opposition. The Bible was simple and plain to understand. God meant just what He says unless He tells us it means something else. I had escaped the confusing and blinding abuse of symbolism by churches to protect their errors, I was free of traditions.
Since then I am sharing what I have found on my own in the Spanish forum: foroadventista.org, and the people there have helped me to comprehend even more. What happened to me fairly quickly is very difficult for others, questioning and ridding themselves of human traditions in the comprehension of the Biblical message.
