    Seek first the Kingdom of God

    If you were told to seek first your relationship with God, would you say that because you already have one you don't need to seek it?  Obviously what is meant is in the way of choices.  So I would say that this verse of course applies to everyone.

    I can see how that verse could have such impact. Someone once noted that in Philemon, Paul did for Onesimus what Christ did for us. Indeed there does seem to be a striking similarity. A runaway slave (reminds me of progidal son) who has stolen something (sin - prov 1 - the loot)...

    How have you applied it's teachings to your life? Do the scriptures challange you in any way? What kind of encouragments do you get from the scripture? Do you know of any spiritual teaching that might not be obvious to others in this scripture? Stuff like that - so that I may learn...
