• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Weren't there 6 wounds? Head, 2 hands, 2 feet, AND side. Ahhh wait, the side wound was post mortem. Does that matter?

My bad... I sent you an email from that site. There wasnt a PM function there for some reason, and you are correct, no personal inboxes. All these forums get confusing. That, and I must need a life. :)

    Freemasonry is compatible with Christianity?

Well, after reading your post I know that you have absolutely no knowledge of freemasonry. So what? Typical conspiracy BS. From the rest of your post I can tell that you were NOT an OES and probably don't even know a real live mason. That would be funny if it weren't completely delusional. :D...

    Freemasonry is compatible with Christianity?

It's tough when one's 'ministry' is based on bad scholarship, rumor, and superstition. Even when faced with gross error, you have to maintain the facade of righteousness. That's pretty sad.

Uhhhhh, what? I'm sure Wayne will have lots to say about that, but Mike, you just can't get there from here. That's a non sequitur any way you look at it.

I learned that back in March when I petitioned. :) Very cool degree work in the YR! Now that's pretty cool.

    Freemasonry is compatible with Christianity?

There is no valid historical link between modern freemasonry and the Knights Templar. One of the best books attempting to establish such a link is John Robinson's "Born in Blood". Most, if not all supporting evidence is circumstantial at best. Masonic scholars are divided on the subject, but...

Wow a combo; red herring AND strawman.

    Freemasonry is compatible with Christianity?

Getting the first commandment "right" is not as difficult as you think it is. You and others, would very much like it to be difficult. That way, more christians would need to turn to you for advice and direction. No you haven't. You've attempted to do that but you've failed every time. In...

Yeah, her admissions of doubt encourage me greatly. She lived a lifetime of perseverance in spite of her doubts. To me, that is the epitomy of 'dying to self' and taking up the cross.

    Freemasonry is compatible with Christianity?

I enjoyed it very much as well. I used to hold to that view as well. The last few years of study have forced me to challenge some of my previously held notions. Today, I am much more interested in personal stories and learning what all goes in to making someone who they are. I no longer see...

    Freemasonry is compatible with Christianity?

Mike, If you hold similar theology to Harold Kupp, I can understand why you are vigilant against the fraternity. Perhaps, if you like, a few of us can offer you thoughtful arguments to persuade you to change your mind and experience true freedom in Christ.
