    Your replies

People who agree with the SOF can argue all they choose. I usually choose not to argue. Just not in the mood.

Hi Friends; Can anyone here recommend to me a book, pamphlet or tract concerning the restorationist understanding of communion. I am specifically asking about celebration of the Lords Supper. Thanks FJ

    The Fundamentals

I am familiar with the Niagara Bible Conferences in the late 1880's, I've never actually read the text of what is called the Niagara Creed. I look forward to reading your notes.

What do you think of Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches?

I think the debate amongst many Christians stems from a true love for the written word of God. I believe that can be said of both sides of the KJVO issue. I'm not a KJVOnliest but those that I have known, are so, because they truly believe it is the best revelation of God in written form.

Who was the greatest Christian ever?

I would disagree that most influential is synonymous with "greatest". Interesting results none the less.

Who was the greatest Christian ever?

Of the Billions of Christians that have existed over the past two thousand years why does anyone believe they can possibly know the answer to this? Or even that giving an answer is possible? How do you measure such a thing?

It is funny, "sodomy" is not a sin listed in Scripture.

The word Trinity isn't in Scripture either. Do you reject the doctrine of the Trinity?

SBC statement on Calvinism and Arminianism

Well it seems that the SBC wishes to keep a balance. They have done so somewhat successfully since their inception. I've known congregations composed of both. It takes a very talented and dedicated pastor though.

    Getting Baptized

I'm not sure that any Baptist Church requires public baptism. As a minister I usually desire for baptism to be a communal celebration but sometimes there are issues that make that impractical such as anxiety, mobility issues, work responsibilities etc.

    The Lord's Supper

Christ is spiritually present in the receiving of Communion. Don't care to define it any further than that. (Calvinist view as opposed to Zwinglian view)
