I am a Mexican-American, the 10th sibling and last child born to two very loving parents of Mexican origins. My father spoke German before he mastered Spanish since he was born in 1911 in a German speaking town, New Braunfels, TX. where he attended school in which all classes were taught in German. My mother was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, where her mother's brothers owned hotels. Her dad was a Mexican Indian from the Estilan tribe, and he was born in Zacatecas, Mexico. Grandpa was a quiet, gentle man and a creative artisan.
My great, great, great grandmother, Marie Howard Rosenberg, was an Austrian Jewish lady who married my great, great, great grandfather, Joaguin de los Santos in Madrid, Spain. My mother's maternal grandmother was French from Normandy, France. Therefore, I have Mexican Indian blood from the Estilan tribe; French blood from my maternal great grandmother; Italian blood from my great, great, great grandfather from Spain; and Austrian Jewish blood from my great, great, great grandmother Marie Rosenberg. More importantly, I have the royal, eternal blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that has cleansed me of my sin.
