    One Nation Under Many Gods

Nor was our nation founded on: "In God We Trust". This was not the national motto until 1956, nearly 200 years after the founding of our nation. Prior to this our nation had, as its primary motto, a more inclusive one, "e pluribus unum", or "out of many, one".

Evolutionists: what are your official/accredited qualifications concerning Evolution?

I hold BS and MS degrees in geology (stratigraphy and sedimentology) and a PhD in geology (paleobotany and stratigraphic palynology). Now, I work as a coal geologist. So, I suppose I have relavent experience in both the geological time and fossil record arguments that back up the theory of...

How many are prepared to call beauty and its appreciation simultaneous mutations?

Beauty is in the eye or nose of the beholder. Rat in a can. That's great. Sounds like a new product from Campbell's Soup. Next we'll have Cream of Armadillo soup! Edited to add that I voted yes, meaning I'm ready to accept that what we, as humans, consider beauty is a result of natural...

U.S. adults who accept evolution declined from 45 to 40 percent.

What's wrong with homeopathy? I like candy!

U.S. adults who accept evolution declined from 45 to 40 percent.

I'd say that the bigger swing is from adults who overtly reject evolution becoming adults who are not sure (+9% compared to -5% going the other way). I think that's a boarderline positive for the theory of evolution.

"You might be a fundy athiest if..."

Having been a redneck for the last 15 years of my life, I found this juvenile attempt to replicate high humor to be distasteful and by and large unsuccessful.

    YEC Proof.

Thanks, but I've already had a starter course, and all the other courses needed to fullfill BS, MS, and PhD degrees in geology. And from the type of rubbish on the one page that I did read, I felt no real inclination to continue. I think it would be wise to seek out what real scientists...
