  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Jesus has perfected forever those who are being sanctified

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. NKJV It seems as though most people posting here understand that even though Jesus has perfected us forever, if we are still alive in the flesh we are still being sanctified. As the scripture states those...

Jesus has perfected forever those who are being sanctified

We are without sin because the Father has condemned the sin in our body. As long as we follow Jesus' voice as He commands us to do what we have to do to stay in His Spirit, God the Father will condemn any sin in our flesh to keep us sinless. Romans 7:14 as long as we live physically and remain...

Jesus has perfected forever those who are being sanctified

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. NKJV Jesus has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. If you are in Jesus, you are perfected if you are being sanctified. What does that mean? If we are perfected, what do we need to do? We...

    worship in spirit and truth

We have been given a lot of freedom and with freedom comes temptations. As the scriptures say we should not use the freedom to please the flesh. We should use our freedom to please Him who made this freedom possible. Matthew 7:26 "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do...

    worship in spirit and truth

John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." NKJV The Father wants worshipers who worship Him in...

    God justifies the ungodly

Yes, Jesus does not leave us as we are, and the process is called sanctification. That process depends on one thing. Romans 7:25 I thank God — through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. NKJV That process depends on...

    God justifies the ungodly

I cited scriptures all the way. You do not think that God will discipline those acting like the devil. If they love sin that much, they will never make it in Jesus as they love they world too much. Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh...

    God justifies the ungodly

Yes, they still sin but if God does not impute sin to believers and according to God, we do not sin, He is the final judge of who is a sinner. Even though God does not impute sin to someone does not make them righteous. Romans 4:6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom...

    God justifies the ungodly

1 John 3:5 I am saying there is no sin in Jesus. God treats sin in Jesus as a childish misbehavior. He will discipline to make them change the behavior. If they die under discipline they have died in Jesus. John 10:4 His sheep follow His voice some of them to death under discipline the point is...

    God justifies the ungodly

Matthew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." NKJV Jesus came to save people from their sins. Saving from our sins means we are still sinning and God has saved us from the consequences of our sins. If God had made...

    God justifies the ungodly

Just prior to the underlined part it states not believe and after the underlined part it states unbelieving. I proved by 2 examples how Jesus convicts His believers. He will tell them to repent of the behavior or He will make them sick ending in physical death if they do not repent. In Corinth...

    God justifies the ungodly

You said that believe and obey meant the same thing. They do not. You cite John3:36 anf I will cite another translation. John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." NKJV I that verse...

    God justifies the ungodly

It is not that they are not working, they are doing ungodly things. Those in 1Corinthians 11 who were abusing the Lords supper were getting drunk by drinking more than their share of the wine plus eating a lot of the bread. They did it more than once because they were doing it till they got sick...

    God justifies the ungodly

Romans 4:5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, NKJV God justifies the ungodly. Some people who claim to be Christian say most people are ungodly but after they repent and Jesus enters them, He cleans them up and...
