  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Interracial Marriage?

I am a product of an inter-racial marriage and I think it's a good thing. I have more than one cultural background to explore and appreciate and I think that's pretty cool

Why do you believe in your religion?

Hmm... Bruce I'm really wondering how to answer you. My feelings about my own faith are strong, and from what I have read of the Bahai faith I could give you my reasons why I disagree with you... but that is not what this thread is about. Everyone was asked to give their personal reasons- the...

What ever happened to love your enemies?

I agree there should never be malice when you're discussing relgion. The passage of scripture I quote here admonishes to do it with"gentleness and respect". But as to using examples from other holy books and religions I think that's perfectly valid. 1 Peter 3:15 (New International...

The first year of marriage - what is/was it like for you?

Been married 10 years.... First year: The only really rocky thing was that the home he owned was co-owned by his mom so we were living with his family. I wasn't happy. We didn't have fights per se, but it was just tough to settle in and be carefree. I hardly even wanted to be home. What...

Why do you believe in your religion?

I'm a Christian with Messianic leanings. Why? After researching other religions I've found that none of them come close. Christianity allows me to have direct access to the Creator of everything, a real relationship that I treasure. Other relgions also don't come close to the applicability of...

Hello! It's been a very long time since I have posted on CF and I notice that some things have changed or been rearranged/moved around. Anyways, there used to be some fabulous threads in the Messianic section regarding when Jesus was born and how the evidence seems to point to the feast of...

Last Wednesday a good friend of mine died very unexpectedly. Her husband (who is also a close friend) is crushed. They were married just four...

Advice on cooking for a husband who doesn't eat!

from a nutrional point of view, your hubby sounds completely under-nourished. His natural appetite may be suppressed because his system is so clogged up with garbage. Bickering married couples

My parents are like this and it's very annoying. They swear they love each other, but I don't think it's healthy because they're just plain mean to one another sometimes. Actually it makes me sad .
