  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Confronting small problems in teen class

I'm sorry, maybe I see things a little differently than everyone else, but c'mon if they were listening to headphones it only means that everyone else could hear you and they couldn't...that sounds like an opportunity to me!!! I can think of about a million things I could do with that and all of...

    main sanctuary or smaller room?

My advise to you is don't ask them!!! Never ask them because if you have a split decision (which you will) it's only going to cause more difficulty in deciding, and then, who knows, next week you might have seven kids. Ultimitely it doesn't matter just do what is most comfortable to you but if...

    Children Ministry Visitor Packet

I've seen a small series of tract size comic books, at the local Christian book store. I didn't buy any so can't comment on what's in it, but it seems to be value based, not so much Bible stories, if that makes sense. Please don't give your children chic tracts!!! I'm still in counseling today!!!

McDonalds didn't get where they are because of quality hamburgers! Communication With Parents

It's hard to give an answer because no one can really know the what the parents really want. Just ask God and then follow your heart. If you don't get the answer from him, don't do anything. The truth of the matter is it is not your responsibility it's the Holy Spirit's and the parent's. The...

Anyone know how to do this?

The only thing your missing in the set up is that you need a couple of people holding 2 sheets. one goes in front of the rear persons face and the other sheet hides his body from underneath.

Anyone know how to do this?

Actually this routine works better if you don't have a script. I have seen it work best when you do a demonstration of some sort like "what to do when you wake up in the morn". The person who is talking will get really out of sorts as the person using their hands (who can't see) starts trying to...

    NewBuilding New Stage !!!

We have used a few different theming companies in our childrens ministry. Every one has been good in there own way but I think that "the wow factory" gave us the biggest bang for our buck. Ed and Chris are really nice guys and really worked hard to take care of us.
