One of the most significant events in my life is the fact that I was adopted at six weeks of age. In 2005, I began searching for my birth family. Using the Internet and with some luck and the help of some extremely kind and caring people, I was successful in learning the identity of my mother. I also learned that I have at least four half siblings, two male and female (one source says another sibling had been given up for adoption too). Although my mother died in 1990, I was able to reunite with two of my siblings and other relatives. My other two siblings have no desire to reunite or talk with me. I've talked a great deal with my other two siblings and I learned about my family history. I've seen family photos and heard some very interesting stories. I've shared my history with them too. After "experiencing" various stages of my birth family's history, I couldn't help but feel my own absence, and through that absence, I felt exiled. That has become my Christian Forum identit
