  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Understanding Oneness Theology.

In response to Oneness theology: 1. There is only one God, the Father (I Cor 8:4, John 8:41, Eph 4:6). God is spirit (John 4:24) therefore having no form, incapable of dying, and invisible. 2. There is only one man that was/is perfect, the Son/mediator/Lamb (ITim 2:5, Rev 5:6). 3. Jesus is...

The Oneness aren't Christians rule here!

Well that is good, but I am Oneness. Also, but don't not claim to know everything there is to know.

The Oneness aren't Christians rule here!

1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. I suppose the answer could be: 1Co 15:46...

    Christian Drinking

Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. What is wine? A mocker=to makes mouths at, that is to scoff (disparge, that is ridicule) What is strong drink? Raging=to make a loud sound, by implying to be in great commotion or tumult, to rage, war...

    Christian Drinking

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. Abstain from all appearance (a view, that is form) of evil. A little leaven...

    Christian Drinking

I got the yoda part froom veggie's avater (it is the coolest I have seen thus far). Anyway, if getting drunk is fine, how do you interprete the passages that say be not drunk with wine ect? That is if the Bible is the final authority; if not, this is a waste of time (No offense meant).

    Christian Drinking

Interesting your first statement is. Relate to or reach? For me, getting drunk kills how effectively I can witness to these people. That is just how I feel.

    Christian Drinking

Getting drunk is not good. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the...

    Christian Drinking

I just can't see Jesus (who is God) making an alcholic drink for this wedding. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: If this was in an alcholic drink, why did not a warning of not getting drunk immediately...

Question I've never been able to get answered

Hebrews is one of my favorite books! Especially 7-13. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been...

    Nudism

I do too. We are no longer clothed in the Shekiah glory that clothed Adam and Eve before the fall. Let's note what they did after "the eyes of them before were opened and they knew that they were naked". And yes, in Biblical times, if you walked outside without your outer garment, you were...

Question I've never been able to get answered

I was not going to go there either. One must realize now that you have basically two views: I am saved, God's grace and righteousness covers me not matter what (suicide=heaven); I am saved, but if I sin willfully without repentance...(suicide=questionable or hell). Like you said this is not a...

Question I've never been able to get answered

Once saved, always saved, no matter (uhh?) what, I presume?

Question I've never been able to get answered

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. I sure would not want to find out that this applied to suicide...
