My favorite thing to do is sit and admire God's beauty around me. I love to look at old bear trees knowing one day they will bloom again. I love to watch spring time when everything begins to bloom, all the flowers and colors around me. Especially, dogwood trees, they are my favorite. I love humming birds. One day when I was missing my mother so much. God took her early to heaven because she is so special. A humming bird came right up to my face, I was so careful not to breath so it wouldn't go away. It stayed for about 40 seconds just singing me a little tune with it's flapping wings. I was in awe of the beauty of the humming bird. When ever I miss my mother, God allows me to find a feather, I pick it up and kiss it and look to heaven and say I miss you momma. It is God's way of reminding me that my mother is waiting for me in heaven. I always find these feathers in the weirdest places when I am in my lowest moments. God is my husband, my beloved!
