  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Water and metabolism of humans

The question caused me to think about something I've never considered with water. Though I've heard something along the same lines with the air we breath. I'm glad the question was posted.

Why Did AI Lie To Me?

I entered that question word for word into Chatgpt. It gave no clear answer. Here's what it had to say: That's a thoughtful and historically rich question — and it gets at the heart of the historical and theological debates surrounding the resurrection of Jesus. In short: If Jesus wasn’t...

New method to date fossils using micro-laser carbonate uranium-lead (U-Pb) dating

"It is the first time that dinosaur eggs have been dated using carbonate uranium-lead (U-Pb) dating." “We fired a micro-laser at eggshell samples, vaporizing carbonate minerals into aerosol. "This is analyzed by a mass spectrometer to count uranium and lead atoms. "Since uranium decays into...

The Return of My Ex Nihilo Challenge

Somehow I don't think God's Creation, being created by the very hand of God, can come apart. The sticking glue of God is way too strong for any of that nonsense.

The Return of My Ex Nihilo Challenge

With my limited understanding of astrophysics, I don't believe it's possible for any celestial body to have a "perfect circular orbit". The Earth itself is in a helical motion as the sun pulls it through space. The same with the moon as it's pulled through space by the earth.

The Return of My Ex Nihilo Challenge

No, I wasn't there. But the Earth is/was. And the Earth can tell it's own story. Nope...it took millions of years. I look at it from several angles. For one, breaks my heart to see children, or anyone for that matter, suffering from illness. And I do what I can to help. From another angle...
