  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If the brain is necessary to have a vision

As a person who is totally (and I mean as my total absolute reality) into the Mystical conscious awareness of the Dualism/Unity wisdom perspective, I can speak with full knowledge and experience that this IS NOT the stuff of science. There are numerous ways of approaching and studying this...

Although I don't believe this apparently scientists believe life formed on its own

Early Christianity was and still is all over the board regarding Mind/Body Divide. There historically is a bit of tension over this subject with even some leaning towards a trichotomy (body/soul/spirit) dichotomy way of thinking. But Christianity, from what I know of it, always has and even now...

Although I don't believe this apparently scientists believe life formed on its own

Wow!!! Thank You! You have brought up something in which we agree. But for me it's not in any way a "doctrine". Rather it's experiential, meaning a bit of gnosis is involved.

    Origin of Life

It's religion that they preach as if it's science. But it's not science. Thus pseudoscience.

    Origin of Life

My life reality is based on what the Earth itSelf shows us and not on any religious dogma or religious spokesperson who preaches pseudoscience as truth. I know who Martha Stewart is, but that's about it. She in no way threatens my reality in life. And neither do any of these people.

the myth of flat earth debunked again

In watching the video it struck me that this is a geological formation caused by spheroidal weathering. There are examples of this type of erosion through out the world. Some creating really interesting formations. Here's a Wiki link on spheroidal weathering: Spheroidal weathering - Wikipedia...

AI use in search for early life in 3.3 billion year old rock.

"In searching for the earliest life on Earth and other worlds, researchers normally look for intact fossils or biomolecules made only by living organisms. But such signals are few and far between. Now, researchers have devised an artificial intelligence (AI) that can identify signs of ancient...

    Origin of Life

What I was responding to was the comment "that God is life it should be obvious He is alive". That's a different awareness of the Divine than saying that "life itself is God", which is more of a Pantheist perspective.

Is AI making the human race dumber?

I believe it's critical thinking skills that's being effected. There are other factors along with AI that's diminishing those skills. But I believe AI is bubbling up as a major factor. I remember in my college years the debate of calculator usage when they were first making their appearance. I...
