  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If I Decide Not to Have Children, Am I Saving Them From The Possibility of Going to Hell?

do you also find this to be 'cultish'? (Rom 9:19) Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? (Rom 9:20) Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

If I Decide Not to Have Children, Am I Saving Them From The Possibility of Going to Hell?

surrender isn't something you reconsider; that's testing - as long as you're still deciding if you want to leave your faith, you are testing God, not surrendered to Him.

(Rom 9:19) Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? (Rom 9:20) Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? you've got it backwards; you want God to justify...

    Please pray

Father God, 'only a sojourner' may have made some mistakes, but i know that none of this has caught You by surprise. You didn't bring him this far in life to drop him now, so i join my faith with his and agree that he will hear from You at the right time and do what you direct about anything...

I feel like I'm losing my mind.

thank God, He doesn't judge us by our performance, but by the intent of our hearts. it doesn't sound like you intended to mislead anyone in the interview; and you seem to have repented even if you did - trust God to have mercy and show grace to you. in these times of widespread unemployment...

If I Decide Not to Have Children, Am I Saving Them From The Possibility of Going to Hell?

i don't know what you've been going through, but if you're still deciding if you want to 'leave your faith' (i assume you mean to stop believing in Jesus as your savior), my advice is to focus on that decision, and put this question (about having/aborting children so they don't have to suffer...

the recoil can be a problem (that's why i was excited to see your post about a 1911 style .380), but then i don't expect to have to shoot more than twice; and the snake shot recoil isn't nearly as bad as the bullets :) thanks be to God, i've never had to shoot at anything with it, and hope i...

yes, 22 is a great caliber for accuracy. i carry a 45 when i'm on my property because i've seen wild dog packs there; the boom of a 45 is a great deterrent; and if i have to shoot one, their suffering will likely be short. my first round in the 45 is snake shot in case i meet a two legged...

he's better than me too. i had a colt .380 years ago, but it was too small; had a ruger .380 that was just right, but gave it to my brother because it was so hard to clean (he just keeps it for protection); both were as easy to shoot as a .22

I feel like I'm losing my mind.

ops! i corrected a typo in what i first posted...make that 2 typos... if we all (everyone except Jesus) got what we deserved, we'd all live short, miserable, poor, sick lives in the flesh and then go to the lake of fire after judgement - but the good news is, that because Jesus sacrificed...

"Permitting" Unbelievers to Sin. A Sin?

this doesn't in any way sound ridiculous to me - sounds to me that you take God's Word and ways seriously, and that has brought you to this delima simply providing a phone number doesn't mean you are permitting and supporting someone to sin; the friend who asked for his number is responsible to...

Do Christians Consider it a Lack of Faith to Put Trust into Doctors?

LightLoveHope brings up a good point. I'm not in the medical industry, but have seen a number of documentaries on how the medical industry has evolved over the past few years in the US. documentaries can be inaccurate, so take this with a grain of salt - the US medical industry is governed by...
