  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Are Christian men willing to wait?

I was very young when I fell deeply in love, it was mutual, so all the teen age years I was practically "married", we waited for about one year maybe a bit more before we had intercourse. That set the standard for me. I don´t need sex I need love and tenderness, masturbating is much better...

    Suggestions to the Orthodox Churches

Dear Dorothea, I would like you to comment on these holy words of st, Silouan. "The greater the love, the greater the sufferings of the soul. The fuller the love, the fuller the knowledge of God. The more ardent the love, the more fervent the prayer. The more perfect the love, the holier...

    Blinded by the Light

Oh Wayseer! I´m eastern orthodox christian and I strongly feel with your statement against what I would call the politicizing of the church. You shall love the Lord your God with all of your mind, all of your heart and all of your strength. You shall love your neighbour like yourself...

    God hardens hearts?

Pharaoh believed himself to be divine. Eventhough The Lord showed him the truth, Pharaoh still wouldn´t belive. I think that´s quite normal even today. If Gods Angel appeared to a modern person he would probably have himself committed rather than accept God. I think that Pharaoh hardened...
