CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi! My name is Louisa and I live in upstate New York, between Buffalo and Rochester, about a block from the Erie Canal. I live at home and homeschool two of my younger siblings while Mom works. I also run a website called WrongPlanet and I'm very involved in my church. Yes, I am busy, but I love it that way. In my spare time I like to read, write, listen to music, go online, talk to people and practice my mandolin. I love to learn. About anything, really. I love God, music, literature, history, art.... I'm also very into Christian philosophy and morals/politics, but not in a lemming-like way. I love people who are dedicated christians, but function outside the christian world bubble. But before you think you can stick me in the liberal christian box, I'm anti-feminist, Dresses-only, and committed to courtship. But I'm not a judgemental person. I love it when people are open minded, loving, compassionate and forgiving, because I think that's really what Jesus wants us to be.
