  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Biblical Relationships

I knew John for about a year before we became engaged for another year. So it was just two years before we were married. I would not recommend any woman to marry a man with custody of his children, because looking back it does seem that he wanted and needed someone to do all their laundry...

    Charles Spurgeon on Darby Brethrenism...

Well as popular as Spurgeon was and still is today, when I read his "A Defense of Calvinism" I began to doubt he even understood the clear teachings of Christ. "I believe there will be more in Heaven than in hell. If anyone asks me why I think so, I answer, because Christ...

    Biblical Relationships

I married a divorced man (his wife was unfaithful) who had two kids, aged 8 & 9. He was a recent convert from Catholicism to true faith in Christ. He witnessed a lot and led people to Christ and even got in trouble for leaving Christian tracts in the lobby of the post office he worked at. I'm...

    Lordship Salvation

I asked my Pastor "What do you think about Lordship Salvation?" He doesn't like labels, but he did say "Well, Jesus has to be Lord of your life". I thought that was good.

Feeling like I have failed too many times

You are in my prayers, dear sister in Christ. I myself have had so much heartache, my husband has Parkinson's Disease, but trusting God for my future. Here are some scriptures to strengthen and encourage you: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and...

    A Prelude To Judgment?

Tulc, I don't believe in a pre tribulation rapture. I am "pre wrath" because Revelation indicates the rapture to be after the 5th seal, simultaneous with the opening of the 6th seal. Notice in chapter 6, the souls under the altar are given robes, but they cannot wear them yet, they are...

    A Prelude To Judgment?

Excellent work Ebedmelech, very good outline. I'm not sure that the 10 nation confederacy will be the EU, I think it's possible that those 10 nations are the Muslim nations surrounding Israel, who currently are growing in power and trying to reestablish an Islamic Empire. Have you seen the...

    A Prelude To Judgment?

1 Cor. 15:52" In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed" 1 Thess. 4:16-17 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with...

    A Prelude To Judgment?

Hi Tulc! Until I read your last post I'd forgotten the reason why I had stopped posting on this forum. The Rapture is a DOCTRINE, always believed, long before the Scofield Reference Bible, all the early church fathers believed it because it is a DOCTRINE, with more than the required "double...

    A Prelude To Judgment?

Yes Gospel Guy is right. The lukewarm church will not be taken up. In Revelation 3:14 Jesus tells the church at Laodicea that "You are lukewarm, because you are neither hot nor cold I will spew you out of my mouth". This church thinks they are rich, but they are poor in spiritual matters...

    A Prelude To Judgment?

Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always , that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass , and to stand before the Son of man."

Why do Atheists come onto Christian forums and get all upset when talking about hell?

So true! Hate is the flip side of love (and interest). The opposite of love is disinterest, totally "couldn't care less". So if you care, you are interested! Let's all say a prayer that the athiests who come here to "debunk" the bible will find the information they are looking for, that God...

Why do Atheists come onto Christian forums and get all upset when talking about hell?

I do not object to anything Almighty God chooses to do. The fire is prepared for the devil and his angels, not men, for God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to eternal life. If men reject God, they have chosen to not be with Him, not the other way around. I'll...

Why do Atheists come onto Christian forums and get all upset when talking about hell?

What Christian would ever "praise God" for "torching" people? I know not one.

Why do Atheists come onto Christian forums and get all upset when talking about hell?

Not if I didn't believe in hell! Just like if I didn't believe that if I practiced heterosexuality I would spend eternity drowning in melting hot marshmallow goo. I would not worry about defending myself against people who thought that! It would be ridiculous to engage in an argument against...
