  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Is salvation conditional?

If you're referring to Salvation as the relationship, I am in agreement with this.

    Is salvation conditional?

I'm not completely sure what point you're trying to make, but hopefully this will help. God does not do something because it is just, it is just because God does it. We cannot define His actions by our standards.

    Is salvation conditional?

I would say that is completely fair. The Bible makes it clear that God is just, and it wouldn't be just to reward one who rejected Christ with Salvation. Romans 1:20, "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being...

    Only way?

I wouldn't be surprised if someone mentioned this already, but there are two ways which someone could come to know God - Special Revelation and General Revelation. Special Revelation is learning about God directly, through the Bible, someone witnessing to you, etc. General Revelation stems...

    Is salvation conditional?

I mostly agree with this, but I would argue that a person who has truly accepted Christ could not lose their salvation, even despite a possible loss of faith later in life. The passage mentioning blotting names out of the book of life is found in Psalms, which must be interpreted as poetry and...

Love the Lord, or go to hell

Desiring Salvation simply for "hell insurance" is missing the entire point of Salvation.

    Molinism- Middle Knowledge=Heresy?!?

Recently I have been researching varying views on Molinism and I stumbled upon this thread. As a response to your first point, perhaps you see God as too small when looking through a Molinist viewpoint because you're assuming God is bound by time, "learning" what happens as choices are made and...
