  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Like I said, I partially agree with you. Its just frustrating that I have to pay taxes for services I don't believe in and don't use and then I also have to come out of the pocket for these huge health care deductibles. I have cardiomyopathy. Its not uncommon among athletes. The meds and...

Would Jesus support the war in Iraq?

The pharisees recommended the Romans arrest Jesus when he was preaching truths they didn't want to hear also.

Would Jesus support the war in Iraq?

I'm sorry, I wasn't directing that comment towards you. It was to that other guy. I know some people who support the war may genuinely hate death and feel its necessary, but I find the majority view muslims as subhuman and are also so removed from death they never see the real ugliness of it...

Would Jesus support the war in Iraq?

I can't wait to see him in heaven. I can't wait. There's so much I want to tell him that I never did when he was here.

Would Jesus support the war in Iraq?

I watched my own father die from a horrible accident we were in. I was first on scene to an accident a lady was involved in and she passed right there. I was third or fourth on scene when a young man got shot and he ended up dying on the concrete. Yes, I know about death. Thats why I'm...

Would Jesus support the war in Iraq?

You may not think I'm worth much but Jesus does. Don't worry, we'll be friends when we get to heaven and don't have to worry about anymore deaths or wars. Unless, that is, you like the deaths and wars?

Certainly if what you describe would be the case, of course not. However, insurance plans right now don't cover cosmetic operations or abortions, so why would public health care? Public healthcare doesn't mean a free-for-all! Plus, public and private institutions often work well hand in hand...

Would Jesus support the war in Iraq?

Or those who support invading a country and performing area bombings that killed thousands and thousands of civilians and caused many more to die from increased lawlessness, degraded infrastructure and poorer healthcare. All because we were so bent on getting revenge for a terrorist attack the...

Vote Obama! Hope for the Change of the Hope of the Change!

Yea but the number of civilians that have died due to area bombing in Iraq and Afghanistan from our planes is more than any American wants to admit. My buddy was a fighter pilot at the very beginning of the war. He's traumatized from dropping those bombs.

    Discussion of government assistance programs

I agree. Charity is good. Welfare is not. Orphans, widows, the disabled, ect. should receive aid. People who had too many kids at a young age or who just want to sit at home all day and live off our money is a no no.

Vote Obama! Hope for the Change of the Hope of the Change!

Yea, I see some of you points. But is it Biblically moral to go around the world waging bloody wars that kill hundreds of thousands in order to set up regimes that are friendly to ours? Would Jesus advocate this for a nation or would he take a different approach to dealing with uncooperative...

Would Jesus support the war in Iraq?

I guess on this "Christian" forum conservative means you have to support every single military action our government engages in. Interesting definition.

Would Jesus support the war in Iraq?

So you oppose gun control, free trade, pro-life, and military spending support for MOST U.S. wars?

    Socialism 101

Rauffenburg, I find that very funny too! People are so quick to use the word "socialism" over here when the democratic parties ideal aren't even close to real socialism. I'm all for privatization, but thing is, currently my taxes have to pay for a war I don't support, for other peoples kids to...
