CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm a quiet and reserved guy. I have a good amount of friends, but only a few real close friends. I don't have the same randomness and outgoing personality that most guys have. I'm shy except to those I know pretty well. Most girls in school label me "the nicest guy in school" which is cool most of the time I guess. I'm looking for the right girl to date (never had a girlfriend before) Anyways, I'm currently taking 3 AP courses in highschool and it's tough to handle. I run cross country which is a tough sport (especially for me since I was never a good distance runner). I've loved to sing all my life. I sing in my youth group band and I work with powerpoint and the audio/visual team. I love to write, play and listen to music, and draw. I play the trombone and am learning guitar. I'm not great at public speaking (although I could write speeches and sermons) My spiritual gift is prophecy and I'm still trying to figure out how to apply that and my interests to a major and career for colle
