    Rock didn't start with the Beatles, it's foundations started decades before that. The roots of rock lie in jazz/blues and ragtime syncopation, originally developed by black communities descended from slaves. I've yet to see a much more faithful or devout section of society then that.

    Hmm, well God Save the Queen is possibily one of the dullest pieces of music in history, the effect of that song can be likened to watching paint dry on Iain Duncan Smiths bald patch. Jerusalem would be good but like Axoin said it's too "Christian" so go for Land Of Hope And Glory.
