CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Due to events, age and frequent illnesses --- I have suffered a lot of memory loss and feel like I need to relearn a lot .
Over the last decade, life has been rough -- lots of deaths (Sister Terry murdered drive by, Father murder in 93, Uncle Eddy, Aunt Betty, unbelieving friends, Aunt Joyce, Wife's Parents and others).
I had to retire early from Teaching without a pension due to Cancer and degenerative bone disease.
I volunteer to help those in need of my neighborhood.
I do things like build cabinets, fix cars, home repair, appliance repair, painting, put up signs, build a birdhouse, rock gardens ---- anything to improve the life of those who are older than me.
I am a care giver for senior family members -- Mary(my Mother) and Gladys(Wife's Aunt).
A few months ago my gallbladder was removed. I have had many other surgeries related to Cancer and Bone problems.
Daily, I am in a lot of pain.
