CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Talk about Faith
Well, as the song kind of goes - I was,
"kicking around on a piece of ground in my home town ... waiting for someone or something to show me the way" ...
... and along came my eldest Grandson.
It was his 21st birthday.
We visited and discussed many things.
He is a devout Christian so, along with some sincere life issues, we discussed his Faith as well.
When I was 7, I was a choir boy till I was 10, but I had grown away from the church after that.
As a lotus flower opens to the light, the brilliance of my beliefs in God and Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ began to emerge through the words that we exchanged.
I became so enthused and inspired that when I returned home, I began a quest, which became my mission, which is now upon its horizon.
That was November 20th, 2005.
Now, just over 8 months later, I am in the beginnings of offering the fruits of my inspirations from my Grandson to the world.
