  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Is complaining a form of release?

I do the same thing! I think we all complain, and sometimes I am complaining and I don’t even realize it. Lol… Though do you ever wonder if complaining actually makes you hold on to the anger or negativity? Can we forgive yet still complain? What purpose does complaining serve? Though I do know...

Is complaining a form of release?

Did Jesus ever complain? He didn't. He could have easily been like "Man I have to die for these people because they can't keep themselves from killing eachother". So should we complain? Probably not.

    The Banks

Yes exactly! It isn’t the responsibility of the tax payers to bailout banks and large corporations who do a poor job running their business. In a truly free market, companies that run their business foolishly will go out of business. This leaves room for businesses that are wiser in their...

    The Banks

You bring some interesting points up and I agree that many people definitely made some foolish decisions financially. However keep in mind at the time our media, government, and banks were selling this whole idea of buying homes above our means. Still we are ultimately responsible for our...

Is complaining a form of release?

I think complaining is also a way of holding on to negativity.

I feel the same way. It never feels natural to me unless I do it in private.

well..... I decided! I'm gonna do it!!

Don’t ever personalize it. Often enough it has nothing to do with the person asking. You don’t know what is going on in her life. Good job in asking though. Atleast now you can move your attention elsewhere instead of wasting it thinking about asking her out. Remember the girl worth having is...

    The Banks

Well said. Yes this is a bipartisan issue that Americans on both sides are struggling with.

    The Banks

Thanks for posting that. The reserve requirements have gone down over the years. The whole system is a mess because it is designed to create more debt. When money is created, so is debt. The result? We are seeing it now…

    The Banks

This really annoys me. We as Americans need to fight this and say NO! If people lose their house they shouldn't owe anything to the banks, especially with the BILLIONS they got in bailout money at the taxpayers expense! What if a person has been paying their mortgage for 10 years? Does the bank...

for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do you part

I think alot of people feel the "pressure" to get married when they hit a certain age. They then marry for the wrong reasons and it occasionally ends in divorce. Sad really... I will marry if and when I find someone who I want to spend the rest of my life with, and if I don’t, I...
