  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

Help! My forum post got run over by a "raindeere" and can't get up! Lol

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

Whether or not the flood was worldwide was not in my questions. The miracle needs of a local or worldwide flood to cover the mountain tops is either way an act of God. Identified natural resources are sometimes still accounted for that are in unexplained and debated topics of history. In this...

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

Can everyone who is not helping the way I asked just stop commenting please? I appreciate the chit chat, like over a beer and smoke, but I'm not into online debating. I'm in Western CO if you'd like to meet up for in person discussion. I asked for calculations or references to completed...

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

Well, according to available water under the crust and in the oceans, we can consider either one. Wherever the people were at least, they were flooded to death. Since we have little idea what the flood waters did to existing landmasses as they came and went, it's hard to say. If we knew how...

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

No, I'm not looking for facts to support my general beliefs, but I'm curious what the numbers and quantities are just to see if they possibly correspond with anything else. This article says there is more water in the Earth than on it also, per USGS: How Much Water Is on Earth? And this one...

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

You fail to admit you make declarations out of many assumptions that you cannot and do not know. I admit I'm making certain assumptions. What I ask to know is very available to answer from current knowns. Answering it like "that's impossible so why even ask?" is not much of an answer at all...

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

Thanks but that article does not address my question fully. It leaves out "the deep" water that likely was most of the water that caused the flooding. Together with the other link above it does confirm that there was enough water in the subterranean trapped water to do the job though, and then...

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

Thank you. I'll check it out. I forgot to mention the calculation would be best forged to the exact shape of our Earth (it's not perfectly round) and present geographic surface features. I'll see how it addresses those... No need for getting overly excited. I don't believe Yahweh is getting...

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

And again, I'm not here to debate if possible but rather just the calculated amounts that would be required from each water source.

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

The mountains could have been fewer and lower, yes I agree. But I'm simply asking from the present knowns. The scientific analysis from the other poster did not consider water rising from the deep, and/or how that could affect or contribute to 40 days of constant rain.

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

I understand the landmasses possibly look different today than back then, but roughly the same amount of mass (earth/dirt/rock) is still on the Earth's surface, even though it's been moved around and placed into structures. And it's possible the highest peaks are not that much shorter (compared...

No sex attrcation to women anymore and I'm 20 yrs old

You may have a calling on your life that the Lord wants you to pay attention to, for which women may be hard to manage at the same time as the duty. There are times that my physical attraction to women has been nothing but a chore to manage and I would be glad if it were just not there...

The amount of water from each source (rain & subsurface water) needed to flood the world

Hi I’m a fictional writer now by trade but I’m composing a short educational work that talks about Creation Science and how it can possibly jive in many areas with other scientific discoveries or theories apart from Christian creation science. I’m not debating the issues against each other, but...
