  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I haven't totally disowned Coulter. I've read one of her books and several of her columns, and while she is hated for her abrasive dry sarcasm, I respect her. But I have never thought her a paragon of rightist ideology. Covered this earlier--that was nobody's point. The thinking by many...

That’s a bit misleading… PluggedIn always does a section on “Violent Content”, but the reviewer never said that the movie could be summed up as “violent”. The section is simply there so that you can choose to keep your children or yourself away from movies based on your leniency. It never...

I don’t know why Ann Coulter is thought by so many on the political Left to be the face of American conservatism. I’m ambivalent about Coulter, but why you or Taylor thought first of her when you saw this movie is perplexing. I can assure you—Ann Coulter would not have portrayed...

The fabricated quotation was an exaggerated mix of what you said and the bad grammar someone else used to say much the same thing. I wasn't singling you out; just making a point about a prevailing attitude. Moreover, that was a comparatively miniscule point of my rant.

I wouldn't recommend the movie. Was it funny? Absolutely. Did the humor come at the cost of profound perversity? Absolutely. My complaints are: -Too many profanities to count. -A groundbreakingly lewd puppet sex scene. Word has it this scene initially earned the "film" an NC-17...

How many slaves did Noah have

what a naive thing to say. i think we all know that career status does not necessarily mean anything. thanks to frumious bandersnatch for at least being modest about it and not waving it around like it automatically means something like this poor fellow probably would have...

How many slaves did Noah have

all right. well, i don't think i could give any sources that contradict your beliefs and assumptions without you claiming that (insert name here) is a complete psychopath and/or posting somebody's webpage that says (name again) is a raving lunatic, so i guess i won't waste my time. all i can...

How many slaves did Noah have

A combination of sources ranging from the Bible to David Fasold, but the meat of it is from a video called "The Discovery of Noah's Ark", none other.

How many slaves did Noah have

I know this isn't specifically relevant to the feasibility of the creation of the Ark in the time period, but the physical evidence for the EXISTENCE of the ark includes large anchor or drogue stones with corresponding sized curved holes for ropes which are near the ark but many miles from the...

    To atheists...

Hey, I am just curious as to what the beliefs of any atheists out there are in regard to creation; how humans and their surroundings came to be created. I am going to try not to respond to any suggestions; I am just curious as to what the different theories are between atheists. Personally I...

    Bush to world:Drop Dead!

    1) nice valley girl insult. 2) there was nothing to respond to in what i said (that's why you didn't like it). 3) it was rhetoric in response to rhetoric. 4) doesn't mean it's invalid.

    Right and Wrong

about the answers i didn't want... i had no idea there was a christian only area. if i had known i probably wouldn't have posted here. the main idea though was that i initially stated my belief in the principles of christianity and/or judaism. SO... i was hoping that would be evidence enough...

Anti-2nd-amendment education bill could be approved any day now

all right... although what i read in your first few posts led me to believe that you were anti-gun, maybe i jumped the gun a little bit. however, is it too crazy to think it possible, since you were debating against somebody who is pro-gun on the gun topic, that YOU were anti-gun? given that...
