Absolutely. Across the board, from the Yemeni, to the S'fardi, to the Chasid, to the Morrocan, to the Ashkenazi, we all follow the same base halachic standards. What varies from community to community are the customs for keeping the halachot.

That's too bad then. I can't speak for other Chasidim, but in Breslev we go to great lengths to follow the teachings of Rebbe Nachman, who was very particular to practice love of both Jew and non-Jew alike.

Clearly this individual was unfamiliar with the Ba'al Shem Tov, who emphasized unconditional love. His great-Grandson, Rebbe Nachman of Breslev emphasized the same.

Shir, It's pretty well understood, both by the Jewish k'lal and normative Chrstianity, that the teachings of Paul and Joshua were (and are) at odds.

IIRC, the only prohibition is to not cook exclusively for a gentile for a Yom Tov.

Ya know, I couldn't have said it better. IF the mitzvot are written upon your heart (which is a mitzvah in and of itself btw) then observing them is simply a natural expression of what is already there. If they're not written on your heart, then there will be no outward expression.

Perhaps we should go back to calling it what it was then.... Derekh HaShem. That way it'd be distinguishable from every little group who likes to tack "Judaism" onto their name to make them seem like the real thing, when in reality, all they seek to do is replace it. And while we're at it...
