  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The First Four Commandments and the Worship Issue of the End Time

As the "keeping of God's Law is not not good works" for you as you state "no." Why those who keep the Commandments of God was recorded as "saints?" As you described them as the "sanctified ones - those whom God has saved." Do the "no" of yours a refusal to be recorded as "saint?" Rev 14:12...

The First Four Commandments and the Worship Issue of the End Time

Yes, the whole Pentateuch was written by Moses but Moses cannot write the Ten Commandments in stone, God did. And the fourth is about the Sabbath of the Lord our God, kept by His people in the OT and by His people in the NT. (Heb 4:9) Heb 4:9 So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of...

Do Bible Sabbath keepers and the Catholic Church Agree on Certain points?

Yes, to follow Christ, I colored red above, Christ kept the Sabbath, Paul and all His disciples. We cannot be a true Christian if we won't follow Christ, as being Christian means a follower of Christ. (Acts 11:26)

Do Bible Sabbath keepers and the Catholic Church Agree on Certain points?

Yes, as Moses narrates again what happened at Horeb, when God spoke face to face to His people the Ten Commandments, and after speaking His words to all assembly, God added no more. (Deut 5:22) This unique and sublime phenomenon, followed up by the inscription of the Ten Commandments on the two...

The First Four Commandments and the Worship Issue of the End Time

Yes, by God's grace we are saved through our faith, but faith must be shown by good works, we do good works not to be saved but by being already saved. Is keeping the Law not good works? The result of being saved? We had to keep in mind that the "saints" who keep the Commandments of God...

    "Name-calling" in the Bible

Yes, against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness, no bit of chance of redemption. But to our brother mankind, Jesus died for all, same chance with the most wicked, the saving faith to our loving Savior Jesus Christ.

The First Four Commandments and the Worship Issue of the End Time

Yes, we can worship God everyday, but God clearly separate the seventh day, He sanctified, blessed and rested it, and called as "the Sabbath of the Lord our God." (Ex 20:10) Which He commanded to His people. Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not...

    "Name-calling" in the Bible

While we were yet sinners God demonstrates His own love toward us sending Jesus to die for us. God's redemptive purpose to mankind. (Rom 5:8) Imprecatory prayers like Psalms 58:6, can we in anyway are to abide God's redemptive purposes, that is if there's still a bit of chance as we don't have...

The First Four Commandments and the Worship Issue of the End Time

The issue is about your interpretation of Isa 66:23's "from Sabbath to Sabbath" worship is just for a week. As the Sabbath is the "seventh day", and there are four to five seventh day of the month, just like Paul who teach and preach every seventh day Sabbath, the same observance of Sabbath in...

Does The "Weekly Sunday Services in NT" suggestion survive Acts 13? No?

I believe God's Laws were those fingerwritten by Him. (2 Cor 3:3,7) In the Ten Commandments, it incorporate our love to God and neighbors. If we have a relationship with God, means we have a relationship with "love" as God is love. (1John 4:8) And loving our neighbors, second part of the Ten, a...

Does The "Weekly Sunday Services in NT" suggestion survive Acts 13? No?

Yes, Gentiles whom not having heard the Gospel but instinctively do the things of the Law, though not having the Law, are a law to themselves, as faith/believe was inapplicable. Yes, by God's grace we are saved through our faith, but faith should be shown by our good works. We do good works as...

"The Logos was in the Magistracy"

Yes, but Thayer and Strong defined "ἀρχή archē" without specific verse context. While Mounce defined it as "magistrates" in the context of Luke 12:11, and for John 1:1 context as "in the beginning of things." And from Louw and Nida Greek-English Lexicon it is defined as - before the world was...

The First Four Commandments and the Worship Issue of the End Time

How about from new moon to new moon? The word "new moon to new moon" bears Strong#H2320, in Hebrew "חדשׁ chôdesh" defined by Bible Lexicon as means - monthly, the first day of the month, and etc. Basing on the definition "from first day of the month to first day of the month" would it mean...
