  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Do you have to be Baptised to go to Heaven?

The meaning of water baptism is symbolic of burying the old body that had lived after the things of the world and being raised with the new body that lives after the way of God which rejects the things of the world. It is symbolic of course, which means it doesn't save us, but we must...

Poll: How much of the OT do you take literally?

Oh I'm sorry. I meant seriously literal. What I mean is that the body that exist makes archeology unnecessary for myself.

Does, 'Love thy neighbor as thyself' mean homosexual sex is okay with Jesus?

The seed is there. Never the less, each of us have the privilege of choosing the way we think is best and we may accept or reject anything along the way. The way of God is constantly creating, so this is what He approves. We all have free will and all should have the privilege of using it...

Does, 'Love thy neighbor as thyself' mean homosexual sex is okay with Jesus?

Enemy partyII. You have a very good analysis of what is loving thy neighbor as thyself. There is only one reason that homosexual relationships are called an abomination in the Bible. This is because the seed is not present in the relationship. So it is living for the current relationship...

Poll: How much of the OT do you take literally?

I take all of it seriously for it all fits into the body of Christ as Paul said in 1Cor.12-. From the flood to Babel is the conception period. From Babel to Abraham is the Zygotes period. From Abraham to Israel is the embryonic period. From Israel to the birth of Jesus is the fetus period. Add...

Do you have to be Baptised to go to Heaven?

Baptism is a sign to the world of the decision you made. What makes the diference is whether or not you have become a good tree or do you remain an old (evil) tree with your aim to be a Christian. A good tree cannot bring forth corrupt (evil) fruit and a evil (old) tree cannot bring forth good...

Does, 'Love thy neighbor as thyself' mean homosexual sex is okay with Jesus?

We all have free will. We may do as we wish. The end justifies the means. We may constantly expand to meet with God or we may constantly trim God to fit our little self. All will be judged in the end for what it is.

    Haggard, moral authority to preach?

This is not going anywhere. I have much better things to do than indulge in an argument with no logical end. If you are looking for the last word, please be my guest. There are plenty of people in need of God and I desire to clean their hands with love and compassion. Nothing has changed...

    Haggard, moral authority to preach?

Please mr do good, if I can get past your errogance, Jesus ask for the one who had not sinned to cast the first stone, then He turned to the woman and said, Neither do I condemn thee. Now if Haggard needs to be taken out, God does not need your help to do so, and if he ask for forgiveness God...

    Haggard, moral authority to preach?

If I wouldn't meet your criteria to be a member of your church, then I would never go there. But I am a member of God's church and only God has the say so. God anoints people to preach. If any man does not meet that criteria God is perfectly capable of taking him out of that position and if that...

    Ohai

You may want to consider meditation as well. Prayer alone is like trying to build a house with one hand tied behind your back. David spent a lot of time in meditation. And it will probably take more than several days to make enough of a difference. Try a month. I do go to church but do not...
