  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Non-Trinitarian What basis do people support for Non Trinitarianism?

It’s not anymore figurative then when Christ says the following: Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. John 14:11 Or when he says that he will be in us, obviously this is literal, just as it says the Holy Spirit will be in us...

Non-Trinitarian What basis do people support for Non Trinitarianism?

If you read John 1 in context then it is very clear that the Son knows the father known, also your interpretation does not make any sense, how can he make the Father known if he has not seen the Father himself, John 1:18 literally says the Logos exists in the bosom of the Father, obviously he...

Non-Trinitarian What basis do people support for Non Trinitarianism?

The Trinity is explicitly taught in the Bible whether your Socinianism allows you to see it or not is another question entirely. Christ says honor me as you honor the Father, he who does not honor the Son, does not honor the Father who sent him, John 5:23, you deny that Christ is due the same...

Non-Trinitarian What basis do people support for Non Trinitarianism?

False, no one can see God apart from the Only begotten God in the blossom of the Father, the Bible never says we can’t see God, countless people in the Old Testament physically saw God, so you have the dilemma of John 1:18 which flies in the face of your Socinian Unitarianism, if people could...

    Hagia Sophia reconversion into mosque

I’d say that’s partly true considering my grandmother’s family was slightly Turkified, with her and her parents and grandparents bearing Turkish names despite being Lebanese, her grandfather also carried the Ottoman title of “Bey” during the Ottoman Empire’s final years of ruling Syria and...

    Does apologetics "work"?

In all honesty If I am to ask myself why I am still a Christian, one of it would be the unbroken the Apostolic tradition and succession that goes back to the Apostles, no religion has a reliable chain that actually goes back to its founder like Christianity can and no religion on earth has the...

    Well it worked on me.

    Hagia Sophia reconversion into mosque

Not me, I dream of a genuine Christian monarchy that rules alongside the Church like either in Russia or in Ethiopia.

    Hagia Sophia reconversion into mosque

As much as I dislike Liberalism, I’d rather have a secular Turkey rather than an Islamic one, so maybe it has some upsides.

    Hagia Sophia reconversion into mosque

Good luck to him with that, there are already countless mosques in Turkey with no congregations to fill them and a population that is increasingly becoming irreligious and secular, Turkey is slowly becoming to Muslims what France and England became to Catholics and Protestants, culturally and...

    Hagia Sophia reconversion into mosque

Well to be honest it hasn’t been a Church since 1453, they already took that Cathedral away centuries ago, what’s happening now is simply a political ploy.

Do you think Jesus will return in our lifetime?

Probably not, none of the major signs of the Book of Revelation happens yet, nor does it seem like they will happen anytime soon.

CAN YOU LOSE YOUR SALVATION AND ETERNAL LIFE?

Judas was originally one of the Twelve so he was called by Christ just as the others were.
