  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Serenity

I've heard nothing but good things about it, but it looks like it might not be playing in this area (small town, 5 screens total). Maybe I'd be better off grabbing the Firefly DVD box first anyway, since I only ended up seeing a few episodes of it...

    Classic rock anyone?

In general, I disagree, but I think there is some crossover in some of the emphasis and themes, particularly in "progressive" rock. Bands like Kansas and ELP are good examples of this phenomenon, to say nothing of Yngwie Malmsteen (who arguably falls into the rough "classic rock" timeframe but...

IGN is saying that the 360 is better than PS3!!!

Specifications alone tell us nothing useful about a game console. You can rattle off numbers until you're blue in the face, but the bottom line is that the public is never given enough information this early to get anything useful out of it. Even a skilled computer engineer would have difficulty...

    Bleach

I actually prefer the way they do filler in Bleach. It's endearingly shameless, usually amusing, and it allows them to keep tight pacing for the main story arcs. Basically, the way they do it, you could completely skip the filler eps and not miss any arc-relevant stuff. Contrast this with shows...
