  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Gimme Dat Christian Side Hug Yo!! *Moved from Creation & Evolution*

In a Creationist world... the only unbiased, peer reviewed journal is Creation magazine. All others are a hoax.

    Err...Wait...

The Dead Sea Scrolls had a lot of stuff not in the current OT, though-- for example, the Book of Jubilees, which creationists would jump all over if some evangelical were to declare it canon.

Where is the general apologetics forum?

I haven't visited this site much since the redesign but I'd like to add a note based on what I remember from four to six years back. I have always been quite grateful that the site founder welcomed nonbelievers to the extent that he gave all the major world religions their own icons. The...

    Obama's cult-like rallies raise concerns

Then I'll put it in print for you: Hillary Clinton supporters are cultlike. They have a totally unsubstantiated faith in a losing candidate and they obsess over defending her secretive cult of personality. To continue to support such vicious attacks on her part is an evidence of irrationality...

Does God answer prayer? ASU research says 'yes'

What does this have to do with evolution debate? God doesn't demonstrate the literal veracity of the Bible by answering prayers, that would deny us our free will. Or, at least, I thought that was how the reasoning went. Anyway this has nothing to do with evolution. Whenever something good...

    Buddhists and Vesak Day

My college had a small celebration for Vesak. Tibetan, Cambodian and Sri Lankan monks were invited. We got there at 9AM to affirm the Triple Gem vows. We did group meditation and walking meditation, ate lunch, and then each of the groups of monks did some chanting (which was really something...

25 Reasons to Deport Illegal Alien

Should I make a list of 25 reasons to deport all black people (we spend more on food stamps than they give back to us, crime rate is higher, sex crimes, etc...) or do you accept the inconsistency in your politics? Illegal immigration is caused by NAFTA anyway.
