  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Russell Brand allegations

Which I think is the purpose point of mounting such a multipronged blitzkrieg attack. If there were just one story that had suddenly 'come to light' then i think it might be believable...it would certainly be worth consideration... but the reality is that literally overnight there have been an...

    Young People Hate Baby Boomers

It's really easy to hate a demographic, because it isn't real.

    Young People Hate Baby Boomers

I'm a Gen X'er but essentially I'd say Millennials don't tend to consider Baby Boomers as being the source of all their woes (apart from by their voting habits, or when they're trying to buy a house), if anything it appears to be the other way round. As an outsider I'd say that there appears to...

NewsMax host: Vaccines unnaturally "stand in the way" of diseases killing people

I don't need guidance on this, seat belts are clearly just a government attempt to restrain people, and rob them of their basic freedom of movement.

NewsMax host: Vaccines unnaturally "stand in the way" of diseases killing people

Yup, although I'd probably come at it from the perspective that unless it is powered by magick, then absolutely everything from tv stations, to vaccines, to bower bird constructions are natural, because clearly humans are a part of nature and the concept of 'artificial' is about as 'artificial'...

Advice for dating with differences in faith level…

Luke 6:43-45 43 “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; 44 for each tree is known by its own fruit. Figs are not gathered from thorns, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. 45 The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the...

NewsMax host: Vaccines unnaturally "stand in the way" of diseases killing people

Or maybe, it's a Democrat ploy to reduce the number of Republican voters, by tricking them into thinking that they are getting tricked into giving up their freedoms, when in fact they are being tricked into contracting a potentially fatal disease. The real trick though is making sure that they...

NewsMax host: Vaccines unnaturally "stand in the way" of diseases killing people

The reason public health bodies push for flu injections vaccinations every year, is because it reduces both the mortality and the morbidity that would otherwise occur. It alleviates unnecessary pressures on the system, pressures which have a detrimental effect on health outcomes for all...

    Advice, help, insight?

Hi, I'm about 14 months in, I have three kids (2,4 & 10) and my ex-(wife) has a female partner, who also has 3 kids. There is no animosity, at least not anymore, my ex-wife's relationship precipitated the breakdown, but really was just a manifestation of it(because she is gay). I spend a...

Quote on racism: Agree/Disagree and why?

I wouldn’t use that term to describe anyone. Are you suggesting that it only applies to some of them? If so, how would I be able to distinguish them from the rest?

Quote on racism: Agree/Disagree and why?

I dunno, I'm no expert, but I'm going off something like this Redneck - Wikipedia which sounds like poor southern white folks to me, which I don't think would be a lifestyle as such, and they seem to have been relentlessly dehumanised as far as I can tell, (mostly by non-poor, non-southern...

Quote on racism: Agree/Disagree and why?

So that'd be #0.9 then? I can disagree further, in that it doesn't actually need to be a specific race, it can be a subset 'Rednecks' for instance, that are considered sufficiently distinct from the rest of the group, for them to be considered safe, for the purposes of expiation.
