  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Stylish CF Characters

Majesty's character is fantastic... I think ::starlight::'s character also looks fab, and princessbunnyhop's is highly inspirational. Mine is just me - a total mish-mash of styles!

    Priest Idol

Watching it now... Again, very interesting. Some of the PCC have finally caught on to the idea of making church attractive for the folks in the village. Hallelujah! Incidently, is it bad of me to have a bit (read, a lot) of a crush on Fr James?

    Priest Idol

There was a short interview in the second episode with a 10 year old boy who is the new crucifer at St Mary Magdalene's Church in Lundwood, and he was saying he was going to keep going because he enjoyed it, regardless of what his friends said, and because he believed in God and wanted to know...

Living in the UK - some tips

I would say pick somewhere in Cheshire - where I'm from - because you're then fairly central to everywhere and you can get to pretty much any where else on the mainland in about 5 hours. There are a few exceptions to that of course! The best thing to do when you pick an area is to contact...

I'm good, tired though! But I've got a new kitchen floor which looks really good, and I've got some stuff listed on ebay and more stuff to list, and I really ought to get up out of my chair and pop into town to get a cheque to the bank and to post off the two items I've sold on ebay. I love...

Yeah, although CDs and DVDs don't cost anything like the price we pay for them in the shops to make them! When you can get a hundred blank CDRs for something like £20 from somewhere like Maplin, that gives you a general idea of the profit margin on CDs!
