CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi I am a 16 year old believer in Christ and I am just trying to grow closer to the Lord Jesus. I am also trying to find the true Apostolic Church that Christ founded.
On the issue of the Biblical canon I believe that all the books of the “Apocrypha” are scripture. The “Apocrypha” is as follows
1 Esdras
2 Esdras
1 Maccabees
2 Maccabees
3 Maccabees
4 Maccabees
Tobit
Judith
Wisdom
Sirach
Baruch
Letter of Jeremiah
Prayer of Manasseh
Psalm 151
“Additions” to Daniel and Esther
I also believe that the Shepherd of Hermas, 1 Clement, and the Didache should be read more based on the testimony of the Church Fathers.
Another issue I would like to address is which OT and NT manuscripts I believe are best. I believe that for the Old Testament the Septuagint is the best for it is the Bible of the Apostles. I also believe that the Vulgate and Peshitta are good as well. For the New Testament I believe that the Byzantine Text is the inspired text for it is the one the Early Church Fathers quoted from. I reject the man made Critical Text which uses faulty manuscripts. When it comes to English translations I mainly use the KJV but any translation that uses the Majority Text and uses the Septuagint when needed in the OT is good in my book.
