  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    isa son of god?

I don't understand how the word "begotten" here makes the case for the Trinity stronger. The word "begotten" indicates that Jesus was created and that he is not eternal. Being begotten is an indication that the Trinity was not always the case but was completed when Jesus was begotten from the...

    Christian answer about Jesus

Islam is anti-Trinity. The perfection of the text itself, which was conveyed by an illeterate man. The miracles within the book in terms of knowledge that was not known at the time. You mean by all non-Christians, who are baffled by the concept of the Trinity as much as we are. Peace

Secular Arab woman tells it like it is

The Ghassanids were payed by the byzantines. They were part of their empire as they were their allies. They were a source of troops for the Byzantine army, they fought against the persians. All this is in the same Ghassanids article. They betrayed the byzantine empire during battle as they were...

    God, Earth and Universe...

I think the answer to this is a simple one (at least IMO) Everything in the universe that we know of; from the smallest particles to the biggest objects have systems which they are governed by. Those systems determine the objects' physical attributes as well as their behaviours. Human beings...

Secular Arab woman tells it like it is

Liberate, try and stick to the subject at hand, you are changing the subject in an attempt to escape providing an answer, at least address the points regarding the letter. I'd advise the brothers not to engage in answering these 'new accusations' untill Liberate had addressed the letter...

Secular Arab woman tells it like it is

This is exactly the point I wanted to make, even if this letter did actually exist, it is obvious that it was referring to pagan Arab practices and the following quote from this alleged letter is proof. It refers to practices that were forbidden by Islam. It is clear that the emperor if he...

    Islam versus Humanity

I understand your hatred of Turks. According to my knowledge, Greeks and Turks hate each other and would like nothing more than eliminating the other. However you are being inconsistent. You are listing 'hostilities' commited against the Greeks by the Ottoman empire and Turkey after...

What is the Islamic position on abortion?

I always thought that republicans are closer to Christianity in their ideology than democrats. What's your take on that? I also thought that if I was an American Christian I would've been a republican. Peace

    A Mosque in Athens?

I am afraid you have been misinformed. Egyptian Muslims DO NOT slaugher Egyptian Christians. I lived in Egypt for a long time and I know what I’m talking about, have you? In fact, during the first half of the 20th century, Greek Christians were the single biggest minority in Egypt, they lived...

    Trusting Mohammed

Why is that a bad thing? Muslims are not the religious police of the world, we are only responsible for our own religion. It is not within our power or even our right to tell Christians to respect their Prophets. We don't approve of it but we do not have the right to come to the defense of...

    A Mosque in Athens?

I did not know there were no mosques in Athens. Do you think this makes Egyptian Muslims for example more tolerant towards other religions than Greek Christians since Cairo has a large number of orthodox churches? (This is the type of thinking that creeps into many Christians' minds when the...

    Trusting Mohammed

There is no contradiction here. I never said that the same rules apply to the Quran as other scriptures. The last revelation has to have a special status (i.e. incorruptible & permanent) as it will last until the end of time. The same is not true of previous scriptures. Because it is the...

    Trusting Mohammed

It says so in the Quran: [033:040] Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of God, and the Seal of the Prophets: and God has full knowledge of all things. Revelations don’t stand for all times except the Quran as it is the last, none will come to correct it if...
