    Just got back from my first "Celebrate Recovery" session. I'm lucky enough to live in a city full of raging alcoholics and Christian oriented support groups. It was great to hear some of the testomonials, and i'll keep ya'll updated on the progress. Until i get some self control, it's one day...

    Substitutions

    Huge amounts of green and herbal tea. Singing, dancing, taking baths, going for walks. I find the simple pleasures are often enough to ward off the urges. As someone mentioned, anything that replaces habitual alcohol activities like going to a bar after work...or even during work.
