  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Climate change, deforestation, mass extinction...

Is there even any way to combat this? How do you even convince billions of people to stop using so much electricity and gas?

What are other religious people doing wrong?

Can anyone tell me what wrong steps other religious people are taking? It seems obvious that all the other religious people of the world are taking the exact same steps Christians do. They trust what their parents tell them about their god and unquestionably retain this information throughout...

How do you see a perfect designer in the universe we live in?

God's word must be very obscure and unclear for you if you have to jump back and forth from literal to fictional.

How do you see a perfect designer in the universe we live in?

How am I being misleading? You just told me that we are too incompetent to understand his plan.

How do you see a perfect designer in the universe we live in?

Care to explain why you think a perfect designer would develop humans over millions of years instead of all at once? And I'm very confused at your references to the garden and a forbidden fruit being taken if you don't take Genesis literally. You believe humans were developed over time not all...

How do you see a perfect designer in the universe we live in?

Ironic how this plan is so big but none of us can see it. :(

How do you see a perfect designer in the universe we live in?

Well, that is what I tend to hear. Christians are fond of this complexity/design of the universe argument in proving the existence of a creator. So he wanted to design the floods that drown life, the earthquakes that destroy human civilization, and the diseases that kill by the millions. Yikes...

How do you see a perfect designer in the universe we live in?

I thought an apple was taken, not a Messiah. But God isn't equivalent to a human with bare hands. He has the most advanced tools available to any being in the universe. I thought he could spit things into existence with just words. So it wouldn't make any sense for him to develop humans over...

How do you see a perfect designer in the universe we live in?

I constantly hear Christians point out how everything is just so perfectly designed that it demands a creator. But when scientists look out to space, they see 99.9% of planets and conditions that are hazardous and impermissible to life. Why would a perfect designer create such a toxic universe...

    Are atheists afraid of Jesus?

The only thing that frightens me is that it may all just be a hoax.

Do Christians acknowledge that God might not exist?

Well, your friend acts pretty bizzare when he's drunk. I am neither drunk nor am I begging anyone here for their company. I fail to see how this story even relates.

Do Christians acknowledge that God might not exist?

Sorry for the pause in responses. I tend to get extremely frustrated with some of the responses I receive on here. I don't think we can rule out any first cause with the argument you provided. Your argument still fits as a match for pretty much anything even the big bang. You also admitted that...

Do Christians acknowledge that God might not exist?

I do want answers. It doesn't look like I'm getting any from you though. I asked you to provide me with something found in Christianity that another man-made religion cannot replicate. You failed to do so. I guess half of the Christians on here are speaking utterly ridiculous things as well...

Do Christians acknowledge that God might not exist?

I don't think that is a good thing at all. People who lack understanding tend to be easier to manipulate. Threatening people with a eternal place of torment seems very condemning.
