    Indeed we do, hence my dislike for abortion. However, I do think that there needs to be room for things that we find morally objectionable to remain legal.

    As I said in my last post, there are many things that I believe are morally wrong that I don't believe should be illegal. I guess that is the crux of the matter for me.

    I accept that you believe that, however many people don't. Personally I define myself as anti-abortion but pro-choice. I don't approve of infidelity or adultery either, but I don't think it should be illegal either. Enforcing religious morals onto others through legislation is a slippery slope.

    If you push your grandson away, you will regret it. Be kind, be loving, and if he wants to be called something different - so be it. They know that you don't approve, but you've made your point. If they're 400 miles away, that is already enough of a barrier. Don't put up any more.
