  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Should we just love instead of preaching Hell?

I notice a very minute amount of people on the streets preaching that if you do this, you're going to Hell. If you do that, you're going to Hell. As far as I am aware, preaching Hell isn't going to save any one. Loving every human being you come across whether they be Gay, Straight, Criminal...

    Out of touch with God.

I have 2 books on these particular subjects which I have still yet to read, Pete Greigs God on Mute and Mike Breen's The Passionate Church. I am going to have a discussion with my wife tonight, to see if we can rebuild our routine of daily prayer and bible readings. I believe bring this back...

    'Tough Love'

Well, I had to use Tough Love on my alcoholic mother because she would always promise change and never follow through with it, so I said, enough is enough. I told her this was her last chance, if she fails again I will have nothing more to do with her, she will never see me again in her life...

    Out of touch with God.

Hey, I am in no doubt that the word was from God for us to plant the church, as I also have a strong sense from God that this is the right thing. Before we started I had lots of ideas coming to me on how to make it work and how we could reach people, now though, all I am met with is fatigue and...

Why Is Jesus Called 'The Word' in John 1:1?

I am sure it is because he is referred to The Word come to Life, as in the old testament prophesies of him have come to flesh he is The Word that was spoken of. Couldn't give references as I am not 100% with my Bible at the moment but I am sure that is the reasoning behind it.

    Out of touch with God.

Hey, Recently me and my wife have been encouraged by our pastor to plant a church in our area. At first we were really excited about the project and seeing all our friends saved. We would meet regularly on Tuesdays for Life Group to help set the foundations of what was to become a church...

    Caffeine, the lesser discussed sin

I cans see how caffeine can ruin people's lives through insomnia and stress and causes them fall outs with people and such, but that comes with addiction to the substance. The majority aren't addicted to caffeine and have no side effects, I believe it would be better to help these people with...

The Pictures The Gov't Doesn't Want You To See

We've had those images on our cigarette packets over here for a few years now. Hasn't deterred any one I know from smoking, they see it more as game, you gotta collect em all type thing. No matter what the government try to do it will never manage to stop people from smoking, and they never want...

Are we living in the end times?

We are always at that time, and we should always be prepared, because no one knows when it will happen. It would be bad to think it's not going to happen so not be prepared, this is what was meant I believe, is that we should always be prepared for end times but it doesn't mean we should be...
