  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    A Christian does not sin!

I disagree. It's the ONLY book to read when you are having a bad day. I don't see absolutes as religious, just True.

    A Christian does not sin!

You are right Paul does not contradict himself. Not at all. He is saying he serves God with the mind but sin with the flesh so then he walks in the spirit and not in the flesh because the Spirit is where the freedom from sin is. I agree. We can do nothing of ourselves. Yes includes Paul who...

    A Christian does not sin!

Reading the next verse will tell us what Pauls understanding is. Rom. 8:1 There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit; 2 for the law of the Spirit of the life in Christ Jesus did set me free from the law of...

    A Christian does not sin!

It is pretty simple. If the first Adam brought sin and death then the last Adam brings righteousness and eternal Life. The second restored to man what the first lost. Even using Billy Graham as some holy man is grieving. He is more part of the futuristic hell fire drama than anyone.

I actully think the young man was in favor of Givers point of NOT sinning and NOT focusing on the ability to sin. The condemnation pointed out here trying to say Sons of God are sinners is ludacris.

    Tim Lahaye is an Idiot

Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the richest of them all? Jer.3:11 And the Lord said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

Amen young Grasshopper. Jesus Christ our Lamb died to take away the sins of the world and reconcile us to God. His blood washes away all unrighteousness and we are justified, sinless in that atonement. Ok IF you do happen to sin then repent, turn away by exactly as you say, confession...

This is very sad. I know of several elders over the years.

    Have You Ever Imagined?

You actually wrote this: Everyone is alot of people. I stated that my home is in Heaven because Jesus said there would be no earthly Kingdom of God. You disagreed and that is fine. No one is accusing you of saying that I am spending any time here. You are entitled to your own belief as well as...

    A Christian does not sin!

No amount of your condemnation can condemn me. I am not responsible for saving the world of its tyranny and poverty. God is. I not commanded to save the world but to Love God and Love others. I am also instructed to yield myself unto God and my members to righteousness and not to sin. No, I...

    A Christian does not sin!

How quick they are to say it is possible to sin, but deny the opposite of the work of the Spirit to live without the sin. We had a dear old Pastor that would visit to preach on occasion that was clearly living a sinless life. The Spirit just poured out of him and it was so encouraging to all of...
