What would happen (and I kind of have a good feeling the outcome) if we just caved to the demands of the Left. Let the values and morals of Kamala Harris, Charles Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Hilary Clinton, George Soros, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama, Ophrah Winfrey, Bill Clinton, James Carville, Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, Al Sharpton, Jasmine Crockett, some of our local liberals such as EssentialSaltes, Hans Blaster, Pommer, DaiseyDay, BCP1928, NxNw, iluvatar5150, TropicalWinds, Larniavc, and don't forget Bradski and so on just run the government. Tell them, "You guys are in charge; just leave us alone. We won't bother you, don't bother us. Of course, I know the first they will do is "bother us" probably by raising our taxes through the roof, possibly seizing our land, abolishing places of worship but let's let them have their way.

How far will it go? Will they make our country better to live in? There is no arguing with these people in anyway, they don't hear us. So just let them do what they want to do. Will they make a fairly livable place to live like Canada, Germany, France, Sweden and China or will there be a point where they will just start destroying themselves such as happened during the French Revolution or the beginnings of the Soviet Union? I don't know. All I do know is I'm tired of their constant badgering. I know this is a very farfetched idea because I know most conservatives minded people have great hope for our country that it would continue on the way the founding fathers envisioned it but I just say imagine it. Would it be good or disastrous.

My next question would then be, "Would God forgive us for allowing us to let this happen or would he consider us peacemakers, we let the Left do what they want to do. They cannot say we are holding them back anymore, we've compromised everything.

Oh, I'm sure there would be many of us with you. Again though, let's get passed that part and fast forward to the time when they have no opposition. Would their society swim like Canada, Germany, Sweden, China, France or would it turn on itself such as it did during the French Revolution or the beginning days of the USSR?

I dislike alot of their views (except for making our economy aid all people not just the gun ho go getters) but the conservative view is a much more forgiving and sympathetic group than the liberal left (who do not cave to anyone it seems). And yes, we do have fighters on the conservative side, they would love to just have their God, their family and peace from this chaotic world.

I think you'd have New Jersey.

We have high taxes, good schools, and we're LGBTQ-friendly. Too much of the state is paved, but we have policies to protect the green spaces that remain. And we have plenty of churches and other houses of worship, of many varieties, including Byzantine Catholic.

But remember, Biden and Obama had a staunch Republican Party (and alot of Americans) fighting their every move. I'm talking no opposition. Abortions, go ahead. LGBTQ issues, all systems go on whatever they want. Global warming, do exactly what the scientists want. No borders, everyone is welcomed. Guns, illegal except for hunting and the police force. No police, ok. Only energy saving forms of transportation.

I don't know. When I lived in Virginia and worked at the US Postal Service, I had a fellow worker who discussed politics with our working area group. I thought we were fairly decent friends but one time an argument got a little heated and he told me if he could, he would put a bullet through my head and he wasn't joking. He identified as a secular humanist. He didn't want to speak to me much after that and I moved to Florida shortly after. He was a good guy and I enjoy many of our conversations. But that is why I would say I wouldn't last long but who know maybe I would be okay with things.

I'm going to come at this from a Godly and godly angle. First of all, neither side in a government serves the people as a whole, which would be following God's will. So if God's will isn't served, then who's is? The sons of God that still rule the nations. These gods that focus on self interest have always relished in having the people look up to them, and of course, so do the human underlings that serve them. the thing is , is that these gods know their days are numbered, but they also know that as long as they keep the people distracted from the wisdom and council of the kingdom, they need not fear extinction. So the religious world at their guidance is filled with confusion and short-sightedness, while the secular world is kept in chaos. Both to distract humans from pursuing the will or God. So don't expect change or an idyllic lifestyle anytime soon. We need to remember the only way to overcome the world is to no longer follow it. We were freed millennia ago to follow a new world and way of life.

By trying repression, I think that Trump is going to make it far worse. America needs a truce, a uniter, not a divider. While some think that he might lead America to the promised land, I think he will lead the USA to humility. I think that is his purpose from God. How can a democracy win against democrats? You have to have better policies, you have to care for the poor, the immigrants, and you have to reach across the aisle. I mean not even 5 democrats to vote for raising the debt shows that we are further, not closer. Yes, Christians should take a stand on issues they oppose, but Trump and his nethods as a frontman, are backfiring.

Guessing from your reply, I probably used the wrong word, "peacemakers". I was trying to explain how I thought God would react to just giving in to the views of the Left. Would He be angry that we were not fighting for opposing positions to some of the more controversial issues or would He not mind no opposition to the controversial issues and would be happy that we humans weren't fighting with each other. So, you would be saying that liberal policies could give us, at best, a decent life (similar to what we have now) but that is it. The real life changes would on begin when we stop pursuing earthly things and place all our hope and faith in God. I'm with you on that point - I agree . How would God feel about the ones who allowed some of the controversial issues to be enacted without resistance? Would He be angered by us or would He be glad we were not fighting with each other?
