This is why I said it COULD be it could be just a random shooting we do not know, but given where it was and when it took place that is a possibile.
actually, it would depend on how you define it very few shootings are truely random. This sounds like it COULD be one of them though little is known yet.
In order to say someting is normal you have to define normal. Very few overall shootings are truly ramdom when compared to the numbr of shootings that happen each day. However, this particular shooting at least from the very baseline information we know appears as though it could be really random
It could be a random shooting, a planned shooting, a religious shooting, a family shooting, a bullied student shooting, a disgruntled employee shooting, or a shooting because he disagrees with the church's stance on the return of Godzilla. Nobody knows anything and acting like they do or you do is not appropriate.
A second ago you said it was religious (because they're Catholic), now you're saying it appears really random. Even you don't know what you're saying.
Well, we have clearly established that whatever the reason, the problem isn't guns and we shouldn't do anything about those.
How am I acting like I know when I MERELY stated that given where and when it happened it COULD be a relgious hate crime. I did not say it was for certain only that based on the limited facts that is possibile. As opposed to if it had happened at a public school or a secular place of business then unless certain people were targeted it would almost certainly not be a relgious hate crime ( in other words that would not even be an angle to look at

Again, I said very few shootings are truly random I should have defined that better. For me, I meant a shooting in which there were no real targets nor was it committed during the commission of another crime such as someone being shot during a robbery or one or two particular people being shot (say I do not like X or Y person so I target them as opposed to just however many I can
If the problem were guns we would have A LOT more shootings.
Guns are the leading cause of death for children under the age of 18... We are the only non-wartime country to have ever had that claim to fame.
