Where’d did you read that, Criminal Twitter? The criminals in DC are furious over this.
Then it might be useful for you to read the rules. And consider the nature of internet forums.Nah. Been around for a bit.
Don't know why they would be. One of their own is responsible for doing it.The criminals in DC are furious over this.
I helped make them. I was an advisor here for about 7 years. Then it might be useful for you to read the rules. And consider the nature of internet forums.
Thirty days, shmirty days.
As Guard deploys, Trump to seek 'long-term' federal control of DC police
President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he will seek more permanent federal control of the Washington, D.C., police force as he continues his efforts to ramp-up crime enforcement in the nation's capital.
Trump indicated at one point that he'd ask Congress for more funds to fight crime and to make repairs to Washington's streets and parks.
[Why didn't he ask them to do that before wresting control?]
I think the presence of law enforcement can be everywhere that counts in a place as small as DC. I'm guessing since you're asking if I've been to DC, you have, and therefore know it well. So what parts of DC are the criminals going move over to to do their thing?Do you think these forces are currently ubiquitous? Have you been to DC?

The hunted is now desperately trying to deflect attention away from his activities with Jeffrey Epstein. Not working so well, right now...We are about to see a whole new lineup of criminals. The hunted is now the hunter.
But you don't know how an internet forum works? Seriously? You put something up on a forum, and anyone can comment.I helped make them. I was an advisor here for about 7 years.
So you don't really know.I'm not your tour guide, bud. It's a big place, trust me.
Nope, just a conclusion that criminals hate increased law enforcement. Maybe they like having more cops around, but that seems unlikely. Do you think they're actually happy about increased law enforcement?Where’d did you read that, Criminal Twitter?
So you don't really know.
So DC needs to go from being a seat of power to a seat of weakness? And weak government and weak politicians is what will decrease and or eliminate DC's street crime?I'll tell you what I do know, even if I had never been there. Half of that staff running around on the capital grounds are high as a kite. And you can bet some of those politicians are getting their own. With power comes all the things that humans love more than the good. DC is a cesspool not because of the riff raff but because of the power. Those politicians support every trade that goes through that place, I bet you. And all Trump will do is put his the stamp of approval on all of it.
I commend your willingness to narrow that screed down to one line, but no. I think any strong concentration in power is antithetical to individual rights. DC is a strange entity. Trump has taken advantage of a weakness, and lovers of freedom should beware. You can't argue state's rights and then support this kind of action. It's obviously hypocritical. DC is not a state, but it represents the weakest of states within our union. So, the GOP needs to stop being weak and act conservative. So DC needs to go from being a seat of power to a seat of weakness?
I'm really not getting how this adresses why increased law enforcement acting as a deterrent against street crimes like muggings and carjackings is supposed to be a bad thing.I commend your willingness to narrow that screed down to one line, but no. Nobody has been removed. Trump has taken direct control of them.Because it's better to make repairs after those who have trashed the place have been removed.
Then why are there a bunch of new news articles about big sweeps taking place?Nobody has been removed.
What does that mean?Trump has taken direct control of them.
